Capital trail
Enteries open so it seems, well iv just entered anyhow anyone else doing it

Re: Capital trail
Was going to do it but as I can't ride at the moment I think it might be unwise to do it with no riding in the month running up to it.

Re: Capital trail
I am in .. looking forward seeing many of you and the chance to talk about my RTW bikepacking trip when camping out ...
Re: Capital trail
I would love to but riding the three peaks cyclocross, this and the BB200 on consecutive weekends will be a bit much. Both in terms of demands on me and no way going to get a pass-out from home!reizkultur wrote:I am in .. looking forward seeing many of you and the chance to talk about my RTW bikepacking trip when camping out ...

Re: Capital trail
I'm hopeful that the 6 weeks of rest the doctor ordered for bruised/fractured ribs can be compressed into three...
Re: Capital trail
Hmm yeah didn't really give it any thought that the bb 200 is the following weekend might be a bit to much for my old bones

Re: Capital trail
Is it this weekend? What time does it kick off? I might come down to see everyone heading off
Re: Capital trail

Re: Capital trail
Is there an updated GPX for the route or is it the same as last year?
Re: Capital trail
Markus posted on the Facebook Capital Trail group a little while ago. He wanted to change the route into Edinburgh and through the estate that leads to the Three Brethren climb but he is injured at the moment. He contacted the estate and that is staying the same for this year. He hopes to ride the route into Edinburgh later this week and will send out the gpx to entrants on Friday. The route will only be made public after the event.htrider wrote:Is there an updated GPX for the route or is it the same as last year?
Re: Capital trail
I had hoped to do it Ray but I have other plans later on Saturday that I can't get out of. 7 is quite early but I'll come and wave you off if I can get through in time.Ray Young wrote:Pretty sure it's a 7am start this year.
