Am planning on posting something in the UK fatbikes forum about this but it fits here too.....
I was thinking that it might be nice to see if we can't get a group together for a winter Jura fatbikepacking trip.
It's a very quick drive up into the hills from Geneva airport (cheap easyjet from UK) and i could meet people there with the Landover (and possibly trailer if there were enough folks) and we could have a couple of nights of snow bivi fun.

Just an idea.
Oh to be single and have spare holidays.
Unless it's between Christmas Day and New Year then there is a slight chance.
I've just checked the flight prices and over xmas is silly money but the week before xmas is cheap.
Gonna need to speak to the boss then the boss at home if it's that week.

I'm allowed (?) one trip away each year, was tempted with the north coast 500 but a fat bike trip could be good. Keep me posted (but certainly don't plan around me)
In Chamonix in March with the wifey snowshoeing, can't wait
Not snow but it was well below freezing. All my bottles froze. I had to crack through the ice to get water, and then crack through again in the morning (one pic shows the rock I used on top of the ice)
Was a walking trip and spent the next day walking in a base layer, paramo jacket and primaloft overlayer, took me ages to get vaguely warm
Supposedly the first weekend in spring/March - Elan valley
