I think we saw a chapel (at speed) and my new winter boots gave me blisters while pushing up and over and down the other side a feck off hill with it's 3km "bridleway" which was marked on the map although not on the ground #TussocksAndSnowAndSteep

68 miles ridden and 7 new "southern" friends made

This was the first-time for me thanks to you both for sorting a fun weekend, that was a very wonderfully relaxed affair without the usual moaning about placings and results.
Thanks also to Taylor, Jason and Bertie who it was a pleasure to spent time with. All I hope is a certain van white van driver was safely tucked up in bed when everyone was driving home.

We have a real community that's welcoming and supportive and you should all be proud to be part of something so small, yet so great.

Yes, thankyou Stu + Dee for the event, cake, tea, wine, stickers, bottles, toast, chitchat etcetera.

I had a great time, the weather was nowhere near as bad as the forecast made out. Great time with Mike, Steve and Scott pedalling bikes and sleeping in bird hides. Nice to see Andy (InReverse) in the pub, and riding / pushing up Tarrenhendre into the cloud & wind was a highlight.

I'll eventually fish out the photos from my camera, but I'm still unpacking stuff at the moment

It was for the protection of the nesting ospreys but as they bugger off to Africa for winter it's obviously not needed.
