Thanks again for organising a great weekend Dee and Stuart.

I think we saw a chapel (at speed) and my new winter boots gave me blisters while pushing up and over and down the other side a feck off hill with it's 3km "bridleway" which was marked on the map although not on the ground #TussocksAndSnowAndSteep

68 miles ridden and 7 new "southern" friends made :-bd

Filthy southerners. I don't know who keeps inviting them to Wales.

Cheers for the interesting take on the co-ords. Saw some new stuff, tried some new riding. Made a couple of new friends. :)

Thanks again to D+S.

From their point of view it's a win win event as they can't be blamed for the routes :-bd

This was the first-time for me thanks to you both for sorting a fun weekend, that was a very wonderfully relaxed affair without the usual moaning about placings and results.
Thanks also to Taylor, Jason and Bertie who it was a pleasure to spent time with. All I hope is a certain van white van driver was safely tucked up in bed when everyone was driving home.
Thanks again, hope to see you all for the next one.

As always, thank you to everyone who ignored the forecast arctic doom and assembled themselves in a seemingly random community centre somewhere just west of the middle of nowhere ... your spirit, sense of humour and attitude are what makes Bear Bones, Bear Bones. We have a real community that's welcoming and supportive and you should all be proud to be part of something so small, yet so great.

A special thank you to Dee for the cake baking, artwork and generally from stopping me from ballsing things up :-bd

Bike packing trip 1.0 for me. Had a great time. Thanks to the organisers for letting me sign up on the day. Met lots of nice people. Shout out to Pat and Neil from the Mid Wales Inn. Left the place feeling like family. Also "Hello!" to Taylor, Wotsits face and Bertie. Hope to follow you to another luxury Bivvy palace in the future.

Mostly, thank you to Mark and Jason for taking me along in the first place.

See you at the next one.

Cheers for waiting for the last rider back Dee and Stu! The tea and Battenburg were most welcome.

Fair play to everyone who showed - poor show weather but the Friday night pints in The Star and Saturday night pints in The Eagles more than made up for it.

Extra special thumbs up to Scott and Mike for the heads up on the abandoned house - sooooo much better than setting up a tarp on a hill in Coed y Brenin.

Yes, thankyou Stu + Dee for the event, cake, tea, wine, stickers, bottles, toast, chitchat etcetera.

I had a great time, the weather was nowhere near as bad as the forecast made out. Great time with Mike, Steve and Scott pedalling bikes and sleeping in bird hides. Nice to see Andy (InReverse) in the pub, and riding / pushing up Tarrenhendre into the cloud & wind was a highlight. :-bd

I'll eventually fish out the photos from my camera, but I'm still unpacking stuff at the moment

Talking of bird hides... what happened to the one on the small climb out of Hafren towards Staylittle?

I too would like to send my thanks to Dee & Stu who put a lot of time and effort into allowing me (and you, of course!) to enjoy a weekend of, er, fun in a glorious part of the country (even in the rain...). Ta.
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

It was for the protection of the nesting ospreys but as they bugger off to Africa for winter it's obviously not needed.
