Re: Dropper post
I’m not sure what boost means .,.,,, Anyway it went in there and is turning ok, the chain sits well on the SLX large ring , but could only use the small ring when I’m in the big rings at th back , otherwise the chain is way to slack , but as said it’s the larger ring I wanted which is 44. Should get...

I have a DP on my MTB it was part of the original spec ,:I really do not need it , can you just take it out and replace it with a normal one ,( and sell it on ) ie, has the seat tube been designed to accommodate it ? Or can I just disconnect the cable and it should stay at the same height ? Cheers

Re: Cassette
I’ve had it all in bits again , bearings have been regressed and set now , , the Sunrace sprockets are not fitting the Shimano splined hub to well , even after cranking it up to 40 nn , I’m pretty sure that is why it’s got a bit of movement , I’m not to sure if I can fix this , I’m going to put a fe...

Re: Cassette
There is no rattling, all the sprockets are as should be , I am wondering if this Sunrace cassettte is not a good fit , Think I’ll try putting the original 42 T back on an see if I’m correct ,
And yep, auto correct could start something big !

Today I finally after 9 months got around to replacing the naff h/s bearings I got from Evans , I got some mid range for tapered Exotic forks , sealed FSA ones from Merlin Bikes , what a difference , all made easier by using the correct tools, I went to a Bike Hub near where I live ,
