Do you ever have a wobble, a moment of self doubt, the feeling that you’ve mistaken your intentions with your abilities or that the world is conspiring to make your next hour on earth feel like an eternity in Hell? Do you find yourself sulking and sullen as you trudge up the fourth hill of the morning with the rain running down your neck? Does your bottom lip start to quiver when the girl behind the bar of the pub you’ve raced to reach tells you they stopped serving food an hour ago?

We all have moments like these, they’re part and parcel of what we choose to do but nothing lasts forever. Sooner or later the rain will stop. At some point, climbing will become descending and given enough time, you will master erecting that tarp so it stays up for an entire night.

If that sounds like you, then help is at hand. We’ve developed these special top tube stickers to help combat the early onset of Bikepacking Stress Disorder, simply stick one to your top tube (fits stems also) and have a click glance at it whenever you feel the need. In scientific tests we’ve achieved an 80% success rate but don’t worry, we’ve also made them 100% tear proof for the really severe cases that probably require the use of ‘a slap’.

To receive yours, simply send an SAE to: Bear Bones Bikepacking, Ceulan, Pennant, Llanbrynmair, Powys, SY19 7BH

Once you add the very sensible approach to access and wild-camping, plus the large number of bothies scattered across the land, then it’s […]

Someone suggested that I was the wrong person to review this book. At first, I was a little unsure as to the reasons behind that statement, after all, I’ve been riding the hills and valleys of Wales for twenty years. I’ve mapped out numerous routes across the largely green and pleasant land and have gained […]
