WRT tea time stop for fish and chips

driving over from hull friday afternoon anyone recomend a chip shop for tea heading south from chester on the A483/A495

No idea whether you'll pass these but the 'Top Shop' chippy in Machynlleh is very good and the chippy in Newtown next to the cinema is good too.

There's a chiipy in Elton, just before Chester. Come off the M56 at J14 and its about half a mile up the road.
