FS: Marzocchi 44s

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

These lived on my spare 'guiding' bike so haven't seen much use and are now surplus.

Marzocchi 44 Bombers - QR axle - 120mm travel - 1 1/8 steerer - 190mm alloy steerer - Adjustable rebound / compression with lock-out - Post mount caliper.

They're in vgc, the only mark I can see is a tiny cable rub on the bridge. I think they're 2010, they're certainly not any older than that.

Looking for £120 posted.

coil or air?
Oddly Steve they're both ... one leg's coil the other is air. I suppose it allows for a large range of rider weights. The air leg isn't really high pressure, I recall I ran it with about 30psi to give me 20% sag.

Stu - thanks but I've done some digging and I don't think I'll be able to run them soft enough for my lad's bike

No trouble Steve ... there might even be a chance that if you could run them soft enough, the damping circuits might end up a little on the firm side.
