Borders or Cairngorm this week

Thinking about an overnighter to try out some new kit. Thurs/Fri or Saturday if anyone fancies joining me? Either borders area or Cairngorm outer loop?

Was vaguely thinking of Char bothy if I can get a train to stonehaven from markinch thursday eve or friday am thereafter where fancy takes me. Its all a bit up in the air though so I'll not commit! If you meet a guy on a krampus it may be me!
