I'm after a tyre to use on a 29er wheel that I can put onto a bike for when I need to do road only miles (commute to work). Tubeless and fairly tough would be good.
Any recommendations?

specialized fast trak. works off road very well, fast on road.

Schwalbe Kozak is a great 29er road tyre. Not sure if its tubeless specific, but I am sure it will work so long as you don't go crazy with the pressures.

Geak Barro race for £15
I've used them tubeless on Stan's rims and they're very much a road biased MTB tyre.

You'll most likely get a 28mm road slick on. So long as your rims aren't super wide, the Planet X own brand ones seem good value.
Not tubeless but will be much quicker

After Stu's recommendations I fitted some of the On One Gravel Road tyres to my Fargo for commuting £15 each, 40c, 120tpi and enough tread to help but not so much to hinder.
