I'm 6'3, getting into anything small or under anything low isn't easy

I've never worked out a great way to get under a low tarp, particularly when it's wet, without getting wet from the ground or touching the tarp

Most of my tarp use has been with walking poles, i'll be using the bike (hopefully) to support the tarp so it'll be lower than with poles.

What are your techniques and tips for getting under tarps pitched low? (Prob applies to low/tight tents)

Standing at a mighty 5'7" I don't have quite the same issues but I do find that setting the tarp up in a half pyramid form gives much easier access than an A frame (obviosly it depends gow big your tarp is). You might find coverage isn't as good but if you're selective with your pitch it's surprising what you can get away with.

I'll be using a SilTarp1 on the WRT, was planning to use an A frame or lean to pitch

Likewise kneeling down you get mucky knees

When its bone dry and clearly it's ok!

There's always the option of some type of small groundsheet. Doesn't need to be exotic, just a bit of plastic sheet will do but it'll give you something to sit / kneel on.
