Bivi spot in the morning. First use of my new Rab silwing tarp and Stu's poles. Also the first outside use of my exped down mat, very impressed with all of it.

The reason I chose to come here. This path hugs the hillside for nearly two miles. The top two thirds are mostly hardpack but at only four to twelve inches wide and mostly a rut with sides sometimes coming up to the bottom bracket or higher it's not a place to loose concentration.

Bottom third becomes a lot more technical but it was very muddy and my all rounder tyres couldn't cope with braking, they just packed up with mud and slid so I had to walk some bits.
