Alpkit Gamma

Post by barney »

I've had my Alpkit Gamma for a while now and I've been very happy with it, unfortunately I came to use it today and the cap holding the batteries in place snapped rendering it useless. I'm sure I've read somewhere that this has happend to other people but couldn't find anything on this forum. Has anyone experienced this? I'll ring Alpkit on Monday but was just curious to see if anyone had a similar issue.

Cheers

Mine and my mums did the same, and we sent them back to alpkit and for the sum of £4 they replaced the battery box and sent them back :D

Probably not so much a fault more poor or vulnerable design, IMO. Happened to one of mine so zap strapped it together.

To me that's just a risk with Alpkit stuff. Some is a great bargain, other bits are cheap and have weaknesses.
