Ruined? Or just fine? (Fork travel)

Post by FLV »

So, my 100mm Reba's are on the blink and need a strip and service which will take me a little while to get round to.

I'm fortunate to have a set of sid's from the bike I've just sold but they're longer travel. Reba's are 100 and SIDS 120.

Measurements give a change in head angle from 70 to 69 and height to stem top (at steerer) go from 995 to 1007 after a spacer shuffle. Seat angle changes from 74 to 73 too.

What's verdict, looks like it'll Be alright to me. Just depends how it climbs!

It'll be just fine. The new angles sound better than the old ;)

I like a steep seat angle. But also like a slack head angle :-)

Proof will be in the pudding I guess :-)
