Wanted: Down quilt or bag

Post by Edav94 »

Hi all,

I'm in need of a new sleeping bag, I definitely want down filled but having been toying with the idea of trying a quilt so if anyone has either available it'd be great to hear from you.

hoping for something warm down to around 0c and preferably under 1kg or as close to as possible. Budget is a little tight, £100-£150 ideally but could shift for the right thing.

Cheers!

Hi edav. I have this available if you'd like. Bought it for 4 seasons stuff but hardly used outdoors. It's a pure -5 but IMO it's probably closer to a -2 (maybe, all a bit subjective hey).

Never been washed and had maybe l3ss than 4 nights of outdoors usage. Mainly used indoors in the extreme cold weathers on the living room floor but it still looks mint (a wash should help loft it up back to new too, but I don't have a dryer and I've not used it enough to warrant that).

https://bearbonesbikepacking.co.uk/phpB ... =9&t=22987 I'm sure we could discuss prices...

I messaged you Ewan. The exact model of mine is this one, Pure & Dry but I understand if your budget isn't able to shift beyond £150.

I'm sure the right one will come along very soon as there's alot of sleeping bags in this place (JohnC, where are you  ).

https://www.tundrasleepingbags.com/slee ... re-and-dry in the -5 version. Blue and feet section is black.
