This specific Happy Monday is only gonna come round once this year. Maybe next year it might not be a Monday. If it is, maybe I'll not be having it.
But, I am today Happy Monday y'all. Who else is having a Happy Monday... My car engine has been leaking the gaskets which I had done last month. Dropped off at the garage in Sheffield and the mech found the problem. He'd ripped the gasket on installation.
Don't really have time for this, but have left it with him. Bus to station and train to Wakefield. Now walking the remaining 6.8 miles with a low battery and rubbish shoes. Been on a night shift so a bit tired and to top it off I've got on a chequered shirt and nor can I be sure I'll find the off road route back.
But, I'm still having the Happy Monday Alhamdulillah.
been to the Leeds bike park this morning with the 2 youngest grandkids. Joshua on his pedalbike which he mastered the art of just this week. and Freya on the balance bike.
we had a few small offs but all good in the end.
But now back home with em, inside and it is like world war 3. i may have to step in as a referee...........
Belatedly Shaf, but I’ll buy into a Happy Monday … I had a big off on Sunday. Popped into the local minor injuries just to see if I needed a stitch in my eyebrow and before I knew it was strapped down to a board and being transferred to Lancaster Infirmary. CT shows 5 broken vertebrae, so confined to lying flat watching the ceiling for the next 36 hours waiting on an MRI to check for nerve damage. After another overnight wait while they discussed surgery on unstable breaks, mid-afternoon today they reconsider and I’m now while still in a collar but seemingly looking at no more than rest and recuperation. Phew!
