Composite, your list kept me going for quite some time! I like "Devon 2013", that's Hallsands isn't it? Had some great paddling and snorkelling round there, super clear sea.
Spent quite a bit of time watching the Alistair Humphreys stuff. I really like the accessibility and simplicity of his trips, the inner tube adventure is a great example. No need for an expensive pack raft just get an old tube and a £15 dry bag and off you go.
That could work really well on the River Dart; train to Totnes, rubber ring down stream and bus back to the train station. Might have to look into that. :)
