Looking for routes in Scotland

Post by Lughnasadh »

Does anyone have good routes in Scotland they could recommend?
Idealy one-nighters but multi day trips would be good too.
The only ones I am familiar with are the Cairngorm Loop and the Highland 400. I am going to try the inner loop of the cairngorm loop this weekend.

If you do have routes can you supply links to the route or a GPX track etc?

Cheers,
Gari

Glenmore-ryvoan pass to Forest lodge-Nethy Bridge-Boat of Garten-Kinveachy lodge and over the Wade road via Sluggan bridge-Dulnain Glen and back over the Burma road to Aviemore?
Plenty of places to camp/bivvi along the Dulnain river. PM me your email and I can send a PDF of the route for you, no GPS so I can't do GPX. I can do a TRL though if that is any good?

Loch Etive and Glen Kinglass that Gari and I did is nice and not too difficult. Write up in "trips and adventures" somewhere.

I did a couple recently that might interest you......

Glen Kinglass from Tyndrum, Bridge of Orchy and down to Taynuilt with a return train trip to Tyndrum.

Pitlochry to Glasgow via the Rob Roy Way and the West Highland Way (though I reckon it would be better the other way round.

Details of both in my blog (link below)
