Over the early May bank holiday my girlfriend and I did the SDW starting friday evening in Winchester and arriving in Eastbourne Monday afternoon to get the train home to Southamton. OK we are not quite hardcore enough to bivi and we opted for the comfort of B and B´s but we did carry all our stuff on our bikes between a Wildcat seat pack, a handlebar system and waist packs. please have a look at my girlfriends account she´s the writer.
