Wide fit shoes
I’ve got a Taylor’s bunion on one of my feet and cycling is making it worse as the shoes put too much pressure on it.
Can anyone recommend a wide fit spd compatible shoe that might help?

Can't you just give it back to Taylor?

Re: Wide fit shoes
I have quite wide feet and have got some Fizik terra ergolace shoes, they have a vibram sole too so walking up things is good as well.

What's the worst than can happen?
Re: Wide fit shoes
Lake do different width fittings. I got some wide ones because I have Morton's neuromas (no, he didn't want them back). Salt Dog cycling were really helpful, and I think they carry the full range of widths.
Re: Wide fit shoes
Lake are pretty much the only shoe in the market if you actually have wide feet. Check out their CX 241, whiich were specifically designed for those riders with foot issues such as bunions, deformation, or wide feet. Salt Dog Cycling seem to be the place with the greatest Lake stock, although you can buy direct and have them shipped from Dutchland...
There are theories at the bottom of my jargon.

If you don't mind cheapo, and shopping at sports direct, the 3 velcro strap muddy fox ones are wide - I've pretty wide feet and tend to wear wide fit shoes or barefoot style trainers and they were grand.
Now on Shimano shoes, I can't remember the model but they are very orange... And not massively wide but very "foot shaped" which seems to work nicely.

Re: Wide fit shoes
Oh, and to be sightly more useful... Lake shoes are currently on Sport Pursuit
Re: Wide fit shoes
Shimano, Sidi and Giro do wide fit shoes that are available in the UK.
