This year's BB200 and 300 route profiles for anyone who may care.

Quite glad I'm doing the 300 as it's less climby
Looking like the 300 follows a completely different route?

Stu... if you make it so flat (the 300) they'll stop coming back. Expected better
You can still ammend and fix it for them. The 200s don't mind and the flatter the better...

Looks like the perfect ride for a rookie
On the basis of minimum elevation 7m it goes near the sea or down a mine.
BB300 highest peak 648, I'm saying Drygarn fawr cos it's close to that height, but a mere hunch...glad it's not in the 200!

The other day I was looking at a map of Wales speculatively and wondered if you could make to Snowdonia and back from Llanbrymair, guess you can....
Oh well, my local big bum is a 700m height gain so I've no excuse....

Don't worry Phil we're not going up Snowdon or even very far north

What are the rider numbers for next weekend Stu?
Phil: I think it's more likely that the 300 route will head south - the lowest elevation of 7m is likely to be around Machynlleth then a mix of minor roads and tracks heading south just inland of the main road do fit with the next bit of the profile. We'll find out in the next few days

High chance I won't see anyone all weekend then!
Looks like the becks may be up a bit by next weekend -

Quite enjoying trying to work out the route from the elevation profile. Completely pointless but hey ho. Digs booked so I'm committed!

Where are you staying Phil?
Forecasts are showing relatively mild temps overnight on the sat so that's nice at least.

Aleppo Inn at Carno - I was too late to get into the Wynstay. Looks OK and just down the road

I can't vouch for the rooms but we've had excellent coffee there on a wet January ride.
Just here checking I've not missed a route email. Refreshing the inbox is getting boring.

In an effort to stop Phil opening a fourth packet of fags, this year's route should be depositing itself into your fluffy inbox around now.

For some reason I appear to have been sent last year's route? At least that's what it looks like at first glance

Are the 300s being sent separately Stu? I've got the 200 route.
