Maiden way Cumbria

Has anyone rode from the top of hartside pass to Kirkland along the maiden way ?, anywhere decent to bivi along the way ?

I've riden it in the opposite direction. There might be the odd patch of sheep nibbled turf in the lee of the wall near the high point. It was a wet day when i went over and in the morning too so I wasn't really looking for camp spots but it did seem to be a fairly unpromissing stretch of ground.

Thanks for that .wee lad has a karate comp on Sunday morning so I was wanting to stay local ( I’m based at Milburn) ,trying to stay close but somewhere I hadn’t ridden before
