Calling all Scottish packrafters
Can anyone tell me what the Spey is like between Kincraig and Aviemore? Specifically is it easy to get out at Aviemore? I’m hatching a packraft plan but don’t really want to be hitting any rapids or horrors on the way

All pretty simple Dave. A few strainers to look out for (at this time of year especially). Water levels are reasonable - not fast as to get you into trouble but you should avoid any scrapes. Watch out for the Feshie suddenly appearing river right, it can be quite powerful. Staying left will help.
Easy exit at the Old Bridge Inn, there's a new timbered bit.
