Alongside the new jerseys we also have a new T shirt and before someone starts banging on about elitism, just remember that anyone with a sense of humour will be able to buy one
Apart from the fact that I currently have sufficient bamboo tees (have I mentioned the fact we've had snow and highs of 5c yet?) that design actually does nothing for me.

I like it, perfect colour for me too!
I have told the wife that when (if obviously) she wins the lottery I want a Chinook and the tee would go perfectly with that!!
Walter Mitty, a character in a story that daydreams of sucess they never had.
Now used as derogatory slang for people who wear army surplus at the weekend or turn up at remmbrance services with medals they bought on ebay and were never actually in the army.

I was just thinking about this and I did think - perhaps peoples view of the design maybe influenced to some degree and in some cases by whether they know me or not. Those who do, may see it in a different light or context?
Dunno. I'll sweet talk Dee into trying the trowel and see what happens.
No-go from me, sorry. Like not with a 10ft tent pole : ) Nicely crafted spoof image and coming from you Stuart, it's nothing I'm bothered by. Just thinking how someone might look wearing one in the wrong place or in front of someone to whom that logo may have all kinds of links.
I like it, it's funny and has that sort of double take/second glance appeal. My wife loves it and immediately said she wants one as well if they go ahead as is. I hope you don't change it too much Stu but I'm sure whatever you end up with will be good.
Edit, I see it's upsetting some of our ex service folk so maybe it would be better toned down a bit to broaden appeal? I still think it looks cool though and don't see why tongue in cheek humour would be disrespectful. YMMV.
