I have be given a old ( 3 years old-old) nanok down sleeping bag comfort rating -5 but I am a little sceptical that it really would be any good at that temp.
Also there appears to be a lot of down pokeing out at the seems and when I tested it out in the living room I found a bit of down scattered over the floor, is this noraml of a down bag and is there any thing i can do to stop the feathers escaping through the seems?
Thanks in advance and MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Re: This might be a silly question
Every down item I've ever had has lost down to one degree or another. Might be worth a real close look over and check a seam hasn't split, etc. Is it possible to check the original weight to see if its lost a noticeable amount of filling.
