Leading on from VS thread about best of 2018, how about your favourite smartphone app (with bikepacking utility, obviously!)?
I have found a lot of useful examples, many focused on general travel admin (trip advisor, Booking.com, etc), but my fave has to be maps.me; download the maps for the area you want (completely free) and you have ultra detailed fully routable maps to use offline. Incredibly useful outside of the EU, where I get raped by Vodafone when using data (less stressful on the battery too). Also have a love/hate thing for Komoot. Yet to find a weather app that is reliable overseas - Wunderground and Dark Skies are my go to, but can often be entirely different.

OS maps for buying a paper map and downloading said map
Sky view is my new favourite app to see and identify stars/planets etc
YouTube kids for mini-voodoo
Enlight for clever photo editing
Snapseed for my basic touch up editing
iMovie for making films
And Flightradar24 for being a saddo
