FS: 29er frame, forks, wheels and bits

Post by gairym »

Below is a copy of the STW add I just posted - make me an offer on any of the items as I've priced them on the higher end of the scale as I expect to be haggled-to-death on STW.
Up for grabs.....

- 29er frame - Large/19" Surly 'Karate Monkey' (good gently used condition) in Black with a Chris King headset (silver) - £200.

- 29er forks - Manitou 'Minute 29er' (good condition) - £150

- Pair of 29er wheels - Mavic TN719 rims on Bontrager hubs with DT Swiss spokes and XT QRs (all great condition) - £150 for the pair (£180 with tyres below).

- Pair of 29er tyres - Maxxis 'Ardent' (with about 70% of tread/life left) - £40 for the pair.

- Brakes - Shimano 'SLX' front and rear levers, hoses and callipers, pads and 2 x 160mm rotors (plenty of pad life remaining and everything in really good condition - some light general usage scratches on levers etc... but cosmetic only) - £100 for the lot.

- Shifters - Shimano 'SLX' front and rear shifters and mechs (3x9 all good used condition plenty of life left no wearing play or stiff shifting - all work perfectly) - £100 for the lot (including old cables and outer which are still perfectly fine).

- 2 x WTB seats (used but fine) - £6 each.
I want to get rid of all of this kit to make peace with the wife who's not overly impressed with me buying a new bike before selling the old one and so if you think something is a little too pricey then make me a sensible offer (I can only say no!).

All prices include postage.

Cheers, Gairy.

Hi Gairy,

Are the brakes still available? I'm interested if they are, does £90 sound okay?
