Okay, the 'theme' for July's photo comp is 'SUMMER' ... not sure whether Nick's having a laugh with this one or just trying to raise everyones spirits
Post your pic here (one per person, please). Entries will close on July 27th seeing as we're running a little late.
Fire away!

I think you'll find that it is a Terry Gilliam effect Monty Python style,

I didn't take this photo as it's me in the picture. This is one of Stuart's taken on our trip to Plynlimon last July. Of all the trips we've been on this is my favourite photo. The views were amazing as too was the peace and quiet despite Stuart and I rambling on till it was dark!

Taken one evening on the way to Ennerdale, Cumbria. It was the 1st of June and I don't think I've seen such a pleasant night since!

here's my effort:
it pretty much rained (thunder/lightening/snow!!!) every night of my trip (and for at least 3-4 hours every day) and so i feel lucky to have some photos of something vaguely 'summery'.
enjoy.....

Voting is now open over here -
http://bearbonesbikepacking.blogspot.co.uk/
I know that I said we'd keep entries open until the 27th but then I realised that only leaves a few days to vote, so we've closed them early.
Please don't post anymore pics ... otherwise I'll get all confused

That's right people ... we have a winner.
Until we actually discover who took the picture, we'll have to assume flatfishy did and award him the honour of picking the 'theme' for August ... step forward flatfishy

Whadya mean?
Hardly like the olympic Badminton, is it?
Once in a while, all the moons align and I get a fluky picture, not very often, but it does happen!
August topic = Big techy downhills(no DH bikes to be in shot). Make sense? Good.

Make sense?
Not really ... do you want pics of people riding down them or just a picture of the descent itself?
Hardly like the olympic Badminton, is it?
This doesn't make sense to me either ... what you on about?

Either, just so long as you've ridden it at some point, doesn't have to be on a loaded bike.
Preferably from the top looking down but thats just being picky now.
