Hi,
Has anyone used a Revelate-type handlebar sling on a pair of Jones loop bars? I am wondering if a pair would play nicely with the sling on the front part of the loop rather than on the bit that goes through the stem? I am thinking that with it there the head tube strap round the stem it might hold the drybag better and out of the way of the head tube?
Any experience or pics would be great!

Re: Jones Loop bars and handlebar sling?
No direct experience myself as yet but I have a pair to fit this week once I get round to it and a Revelate sling thing.... I'll post up the photos if it looks like it can be fitted both ways.
In the meantime I've been looking for ideas too - I think it will depend on the cable routing in my case.
This gave me some good ideas (more forward mounted) - http://www.44bikes.com/44blog/?p=454.

Re: Jones Loop bars and handlebar sling?
I use a Sling with Loop bars on my Fargo. I find it sits rather nice on what would normally be the handlebar and holds it far better than it did when I ran drops. I do have quite a long stem though (130mm) but cant see there being an issue with shorter ones. The only problem I have had is fitting the pocket as all the loop of the bars can foul access to it.
Haven't tried it fitted to loop, but cant see why it wouldnt work especially as headset strap has several position. The only problem I can see is mounting the dry bag that far forward you might find it fouls brake and gear cables.
