A pair of black Jones loop bars and some looong extra chunky esi grips for said bars..
My reward for spending 65 hours putting the fence up (I'd like to thank the house's previous occupant for leaving me 3ft cubes of concrete around the existing 2 inch square fence posts!!)
Not so much a gravel grinder.... more a gravel (mud and tarmac) groveller...

I wouldn’t say the delivery has been slow but what is the gestation time for sheep?
Five months was what we always worked around on the farm.
Better weight than wisdom, a traveller cannot carry
Like Dr Nick, a set of black Jones loop bars, but not with the grips.
A Wildcat Tomcat bag to fit into said Jones bars
And finally a Synmat 7 mat to replace my venerable Thermarest which has gone onto Steve Large of these here parts.
A thermarest mat from Pickers - it's for the other half as she has promised to bivvy under a tarp when we walk some of the Cotswold Way in August - I need her to be warm and comfortable!
And some drybags from Beth and Alpkit to replace the taped up leaky ones I have tried to keep going for the past year.
I have a slightly blackened one of these to giveaway FOC now if anyone's interested, although tbh I think they're a waste of time and did it manually with degreaser and an old toothbrush anyway...
Firstly collected a really ugly watch from the post office. Going to see if the vibrating alarm is enough to wake me up, in which case I'll suck up the challenging aesthetics in order to catch some sleep in the village hall with my earplugs in on this weekend's audax. A summer weight jersey arrived too, just in time for things to cool off again...
I chose the fancy model coz it had a couple of features I expect I shall use - including a reduced power mode which I'll use on PCB's and the like - I also wanted the digital control panel thingy. Mine tis a 6 litre GT Sonic, a certain founder member on here pointed me in their direction - but if you look at the cases and the digital control panel thingy, I wouldn't be surprised if they all came from the same factory...
I've found the trick is to get the balance of heating and chemical right - Clarke parts washer fluid is rubbish, but Bilt Hamber Surfex HD seems to be pretty good (this is all stuff I had kicking about).
