A couple of rotors, some tyres for the road bike (with free inner tubes!), a digital weighing scale ( ) and some 650B+ tyres. The latter might have to go back as I'm pretty sure they are too wide and won't fit my forks.

Monday: Ibera frame bag (large). Not the most prestigious make, and may attract some pointing and laughing in these parts, but for £14 it seems well made. It'll fit my hardtail leaving space for a bottle cage on the down tube, and I may add an attachment point to attach it to the cage and stabilise it a bit, since there are no other points on the bottom of the bag.
Also, a quick release cup handlebar cupholder from the same brand, because I absolutely don't need one, but it got me "free" postage so it was effectively (not quite) free (...is how I justified it to myself).



Yesterday: 5 yards of 20mm webbing and 10 ladder locks for various strap-making and attaching purposes.



Today: A pair of 26" Schwalbe CX Pros for gravel duties, filling in between the City Jets on my road-going bike and the large collection of "proper" 26" MTB tyres gathering dust in the garage.

Nothing wrong with the ibera bags, I use one everyday. The zip has the tab broken off but a bit of string does the job. Entirely my fault for cramming so much in it.

To go with the budget frame bag theme, a cheap and cheerful (£6) top tube bag arrived today to fit the batteries etc I need for the Tuscany Trail. The dimensions given are the external ones - with the padding the inside is tiny, so the knife is coming out!

Oil, filter and sump to service my bike

Spent ages last night trying to get a bolt out, bloody useless rubber shrouded nut embedded in a mount means I couldn't get the lower fairing off last night though. Swearing at it seems to make no difference

Thankfully managed to remove enough and move the rest to get to the filter and sump plug to change the oil

Roll on the motorbike trip this weekend!

2.4" X Kings come up nicely on wide rims. Obviously not as big as a 2.8 or 3" tyre but surprisingly voluptuous.

3.0" Rocket Ron in the rear of a Solaris would probably push it in terms of clearance - I should have ordered the 2.8" version. Was going to post more here but it's better in the B+ thread ...

Watch out Dave...you'll become a gear hoarder :) Next thing you know you'll have a 1/2" tape running your backups.
Only thing that lets your terminal down (IMHO) is it's green and not toffee. Other than that, big thumbs up for the retro gear.

It may not be dead but someone got the tyre size wrong when buying for his wife's bike today

He also forgot that he'd already got a spare front tyre for his own bike!
