Hi there,
At a wedding in Buxton over the weekend and would like to bivi if the weather is kind.
Can anyone recommend anywhere suitable that isn't too far from the center?
Ideally would walk out.
Thanks,
N

Combs Edge is nice and fairly close to the centre, just North. Or if you fancy going South have a look at Solomans Temple, loads of woodland on the way up to it then lots of small hollows and ridges, plus the 'temple' which is a victorian folly.

If you're walking you probably won't get far, so I would suggest heading out of Buxton on the A5004 (Long Hill) and turn right at SK 043748. You should find a few spots along there that should make reasonable overnight accommodation.
May the bridges you burn light your way
