Is that including the laggy bands?
Re: The post man's been ...
Yes it is. If you'd care to speculate the weight of 2 elastic bands and the potential weight saving that could result, be my guest

Two people ultralight in the Alps, will also be shelter in Iceland. Masses of space for two, dead easy to pitch, two poles set to 120cm, took 5 minutes to put it up.

with rear pole set to 135-140cm

even has pockets for gear in the sides, will easily house two and gear

Yes I had noticed, but it's way more of a tarp than a SilTarp, it's a halfway house, offers plenty of protection, weight is low. Reminds me of the MSR twin peaks I had years ago, although more tarp than that :) it has more space than my Vario tent, and weighs loads less, pack size is considerably smaller too. Other than the odd thunderstorm the Alps should hopefully be dryer than Waless8tannorm wrote:Obviously you're aware that that is actually a TARP!!!

Re: The post man's been ...
This morning I took delivery of my new Six Moons 'Skyscape Scout' tent - HELL YEAH!!!
I luckily dodged the customs bullet (which is nice) and will most likely post a picture later when I get a chance to set it up and climb inside.
Can anyone recommend a good seam-sealer???

Not the post man, went to the shops and left with one pair Ergon G1 ergonomic grips and one Frontier Pro water filter. Grips are comfy, filter yet to be tested.

Brilliant little thing & only 70 grams on my scales. Could really have done with this at the weekend so I wasn't carrying supplies in a carrier bag on my handlebars for the few miles to the bivy spot :D

I'm glad to say postmen work on Saturdays in Wales ... new bivvy bag, it has a zip, it has midge netting and it's sized for a full air mat and winter bag inside. Picture says it all
