Slightly torn between building a large Lego set and riding my bike, but as the sun's shining the bike wins

Happy Birthday.
In true Barrington style we are going for a big mountain ride and we will hopefully see time snow too.
And it is a very big Lego set, has 5 books of instruction.

Plenty of snow up here - it's about head height (for the cat!)

Happy Birthday Ian.
What are we classing as middle aged so I know if I've reached (passed) it without noticing?

A couple of months after reaching forty I was listening to the radio and there was short piece that reckoned life "now began at fifty". B***er! They moved the goalposts
Middle aged is a bit of an outdated concept now, it doesn't seem to apply to any particular age range, back in the 1960s & 1970s it seemed to apply to those of an age who'd had a family that had flown the nest but who hadn't yet retired.
I came across a quote from Joe Friel: "You are only old when you use age as an excuse"
