Replacement Cycle2Charge from Dirk. The last one was drawing a charge when not in use which was also causing issues with my Revo. Excellent service and he upgraded it to the Mk2 at the same time.
And a Rooster frame to try full 29+ rather than front only.

The quilt packs down so much smaller than my Vango sleeping bag I've been using.
Which Vango is it much smaller than?
I'm hoping that it'll replace my Venom 300 in many instances.
Its the Vango Planet 50, the Cloud is the same size without any compression.
the Vango is only a 1-2 season, so together it makes it a warmer system and just the cloud will become my replacement 1-2 season.
Yesterday was new chains and filters for the chainsaw that's acting poorly at the moment.
Tomorrow I should be picking up a butchers bike from the MIL's. Might be the bike of choice for the BB party as carrying gear should be straightforward.....
Alpkit Cloud Cover quilt, subtle and understated freebie bobble hat for the Scott Exmoor MTB marathon event, and double chubbiness in the form of a Nic 3" and Ron 2.8"
New Alpkit Cloud Cover Quilt, will be a great versatile bit of kit (first quilt as well, looking forward to using this summer)
New Alpkit Muon head touch
Postie dropped my new bottom bracket off at the LBS who kindly took time out to attend to Lois. On went the pre-loved M970's as well. Feels like silk now.
A Lion and Lioness from Wildcat. Actually it might have arrived on Friday but we'd headed down to the Peak for the weekend so only found the package when we got back this afternoon.

My CK bottom bracket on the Stoater has done 2,000 km now. Due a refill of grease I think, but it's been perfect during that time.
Meanwhile, the Bahookie is in its second set of non-CK bearings in less than that distance.

Hmm, based on that I might bite the bullet and get one of them. I've lost count of the number of times I've replaced Bottom Brackets on the commuter (and drivetrains too actually )
Hope ones are pretty good too in my experience, I've got a ceramic one that has done over 5000 miles in all conditions bar actually being submerged and still feels smooth with no play.

(Probably jinxed it now)
The Hope stainless in my Fargo (that came out of my Swift that was my Winter Series XC race bike) has done at least 8500 miles, and has definitely been submerged!
Oh, and £20-worth of JohnLewis vouchers which were immediately confiscated by Mrs Perrin.
On the down (900fp) side, Topeak JoeBlow twin pump heads last about ten minutes in regular use. Well, the head's fine, but the "valve pin" inside the Schrader side wears down really fast. The replacement seals kit doesn't - yes! - include these pins!!! So you gotta fork out for the whole head at £9 a throw.

Odd climbers relic of the past, best left there, or "innovative sleeping solution"... Jury's out.
3 intended modes of use
1) An experiment for me - sleeping in down jacket and hoping there isn't a gap at my tummy.
2) a full sized bag for my sprogs - see here http://dadventurebasecamp.com/blog/2016 ... littluns-1
3) a down skirt for the missus (draw-cord at the foot so you can walk around in it.
I'm hoping usage number 3) upgrades Bothy life from "grumbles" to "grumbles less"

My CK procurement came about after our chat on the Winter Event ride regarding chewing through BB's. When the Shimano BB71 was pulled out to make way for the new one, one side was already starting to get a bit sticky and this was with less than 500 miles on it. I'm now convinced that Shimano press fit BB's are made of cheese.
