Re: South West Bivvy?
If North Somerset and 5/6th March can you pick somewhere close to the Dortchester to Bristol railway route?

Happy to follow whatever route someone more knowledgeable puts up for that weekend...
Re: South West Bivvy?
Young children mean getting out at the weekend is a virtual impossibility for me, but as I'm in North Dorset I'm always interested in the South West threads. So, a register of interest in the Feb or March dates, but marginal and short notice whether I ride.

Suggestions
Meet up somewhere remote make your own way there and back.
Dartmoor again N to S.
Exmoor from Minehead.
Exmoor from Taunton via Quantocks.
Mendips (bivvi on Priddy Green)
Devon C2C
Explore the WSM to Winchester route (doesn't look that interesting)
Start Bristol explore canals and river over to Bath maybe start of K&A canal?
I would prefer circular route for parking getting to and from?
Somewhere further distance Brecons SDW?

OK so let's go for weekend of 5 & 6 March - I'm happy to follow suggestions for a route and place to rest
Re: South West Bivvy?
I'm at the velodrome on the Sunday so I'm out.
Re: South West Bivvy?
So you're going firm on the 5/6th March?

Am thinking of riding the 2015 BB200 route that weekend so I won't be around unfortunately.

Devon Dirt is posted for April 17.
Dont know if they do team entries but we could do a SWBB team - dressing as a bear optional but you ride alone if you do.

Just checked out Devon Dirt and like the look of that too,
Will still stick to 5&6 March if people are still up for that date??

Yes assuming logistically possible on public transport/by bike. (I don't own a car)somersetpaul wrote:Will still stick to 5&6 March if people are still up for that date??

Exmoor from Taunton via Quantocks is sounding like a very attractive ride.

Devon Dirt was good last year, and loads of good spots local to throw a night out before :)
Re: South West Bivvy?
Is anyone still keen for the heading out for a night on the 5th?
