Re: Twixmas
Hmmm, I like the idea of this, especially given as i wasn't able to do the Winter Christmas bivvy thing.
Realistically I reckon a 10% chance of me turning up...need to get lots of other things sorted - namely welding (with my whole experience of playing with a welder for the first time sunday afternoon!) my car back together and in for an MOT so I can actually turn up (unless I want to use the other one - but that needs new oil lines at least...!)..!
So I'll keep an eye on this thread ;-)

Re: Twixmas
How about we say - Nant Syddion on the evening of the 27th, everyone make their own way there (or make their own arrangements)?
EDIT: Should just say, parking, etc would obviously be available at BB Towers for anyone.

I will be ready to escape Shropshire by then and come out of retirement too. I might also try to sneak a ride in on 22/23rd too
Re: Twixmas
Good to see you again Mike D...I still owe you a beer! :)
If there's a liftoff time from BBT, let me know Stu and I'll drop down through Hafren with you. I hope you've discarded that set of plastic pants by now *grins*

I've been given permission but it seems to be littered with conditions.

Been confirmed today that i've got tickets for a do on boxing night. Knowing my track record i'll be on the porcelain phone to god sometime in the early hrs on the 27th, so looking doubtful for this now

Re: Twixmas
Andy, if u drive out of town on the elan road go over the river bridge there are three good spots iv left mine over night many times
1. theres a carpark on ur left where the triangle ph is
2. take the first road on ur left after the river bridge it drops down and theres a big pull in on the right loads of room
3. this is where id imagine the others will park - stay on the elan rd till up get to the edge of town the road will bend left theres a great carpark on ur right opposite the start of the sustrans route.
All are free, if u cant find any of these im sure ul find somewhere to dump it, if not iv left mine down in the elan village loads of time just dump it on the grassy verge
( if all else fails drive to the bothy and park outside, will save u getting covered in crap to
