FS-REDUCED Transmission parts from Genesis Longitude

Post by Farawayvisions »

Transmission from Genesis Longitude 2015 (MK1)

OPEN TO OFFER
The items are used but not very much as the bike was originally provided to a magazine for testing before being given to Dan as a replacement for his faulty bike. There is a small amount of scuffing.
As soon as Dan got this bike, gears were swapped for a Rohloff. Willing to discount for multiple purchases.

I'm interested in doing the same thing to my Longitude so i'm slowly gathering parts. A wheelset went on eBay for less than £400 locally recently, gutted!

Can I ask how the axle plate on Dan's is secured?

I was thinking Monkey Bone but if you're selling one then maybe I'm wrong. If not I'll take that and the disc .

I think we're local to each other (I live in Hill Head) so shouldn't need postage.

Cheers!

Dan is using a monkey bone, but his rotor is 160mm.

The Rohloff Monkey Bone Disc Brake Adaptor that I have for sale is - 180mm.
If this is good for you. And we live close by as you said. :-)

Yes please, as long as there's no reason it won't fit!
Once Rohloff'd I'm expecting to have to undo the caliper to get the wheel out because the brake is forward of the seatstay, does that sound about right?

I'm still looking out for a hub. Our tandem has one, I'd love to be able to swap wheels but it's silver, non disc and 26". Makes so much sense to have one on a tandem now I want another!

Should work according to Dan. Do you want me to post or do you want to collect?
