Oh I've stayed there before, they're alright. It's a pretty small campsite though! Makes a good base for doing the WHW, and they're used to people leaving cars there (nominal £1 a day or something charge for that I seem to recall).

Absolutely top weekend that was, brilliant riding, brilliant company and the most scared of a drain I've ever been in my life.
Photos here https://www.dropbox.com/sc/7y1s0zvrem0r ... EUWiT0kNla I took some video but a lot of it is out of focus.
Thanks again to Bryan for organising

I had fun too. Great trails, a fantastic breakfast yesterday morning, ice cream at the finish, and bearable midge levels.

Re: Shindig: Final Call
Well worth the travel and effort to get there, thanks to Bryan for organising route, food and weather :D
The riding was vaguely exciting - well the route was, may actual riding was a bit shoddy at times due to my new found aversion to gravel, will be booking myself onto a skills course or in for hypnotherapy soon . . :)
But jitters aside I had a brilliant time, great bunch to ride with, the midges were no bother and the food at the bunk house was spot on. Role on 2016
Oh and in true lazy me style my pics are here . . .

Re: Shindig: Final Call
This was an ace weekend, really enjoyed it.
Even riding with a busted pedal for over 100km couldn't spoil it for me!
Big thanks to Bryan (& any others, Alasdair?) for organising, was also good to put a few more faces to names off here.
Been trying to get some piccies loaded for a while now but flikr isn't playing nice! If i manage to finally sort it out i'll post them up.
Will definitely be looking to go again next year
