I have stops on my frame so that shouldn't be a problem...it's the full length rear brake outer on a big frame I was worried about.

You can get them cheaper?

No gear cables with those. Although I don't know if you could buy two gear cables for less than £3.50

I bought mine from someone with 'grace' in their username and I got gear cables with mine. Paid an Outrageous £6.50 though. I'll see if I can find the link.

Now, i'm not really an on one / planet X fan but...

Buy a Titus Ti Fireline frame at 799 and you can have a Carbon frame free with it, they seem to have road, CX, 456 and Lurcher carbon frames included.

Seems like a bargain.

PHD bargain box has had a bunch of stuff added. They've also released their Autumn Race collection - couple of bags and a jacket this time around.

No problem, got myself a messenger bag. The duffel bags are very tempting too, but can't afford them this month

Not sure if it'll end up a bargain, but there's a Fargo frame on eBay for local pickup only in mid Wales

Found it using the eBay app so I only have an item number - 252075355924

Sportpursuit has Super Natural merino stuff. Boxers in particular make a good (IMO) alternative to padded shorts, if you prefer that set-up:

I've had two of the proper pillows by the same company and they are rubbish. They burst far too easily. Buy a mammut one instead.

I was in the outdoor shop in Skipton yesterday and they had 30% off sleeping bags. It seems that Blacks have a sale on at the moment and this is where the price reduction is coming from. I don't know about the quality of Blacks kit (I'll start a separate thread) but I did consider this: http://www.blacks.co.uk/equipment/62005 ... g-red.html as good value for a 3 season bag.

Lock for £1, although the delivery cost bumps it up to nearly a fiver, so only worth it if you're buying something else at the same time.

Dennis winter doing breeze blocker hand guards down from 30 to a fiver. Not sure about them and their worth. Maybe one for stew to review at that price.
