What's everybody doing for the weekend or are most people tied up with family stuff?

Just been told that my landlord wants his house back... so I think I'm going to be searching for a new place to live after 13 years here. :|

(Still riding one day this weekend though!) :-bd

Driving my 17 year old son and a couple of his mates to the Shambala festival near Market Harborough. I'll mainly be doing intensive yoga postures and yoghurt weaving for four days but have also packed my fixie in the boot for two wheeled daytime escapes in the surrounding East Midlands countryside. Should be good training for my forthcoming Alps trip ;-)

I'm riding the borders 350. Family are either going to the dark peak fell runners thornbridge weekend or guide camp.

Painting window frames, cutting holly trees down, big bonfire and hopefully a pub walk, and I could do with a quick 80-90 miles on the bike. I really wanted to sneak off for a days biking but I think that might be out.

Driving to the Lakes Thursday evening, dropping my MTB and some kit off at my folks, driving to Glasgow for lunch with a mate on Friday, picking up another mate and driving to Ardrossan, leaving the car there, evening ferry over to Brodick, ride up to Lochranza YHA for another mate's 50th weekend. Weather's looking good so should get the loop of Arran in with a couple of others on Saturday, barbecue and beers Saturday evening (hopefully!). Sunday, ride back to Brodick, ferry back to the mainland, drive back to the Lakes and try and tempt my Dad into a ride out on the mountain bikes on Monday, before driving back to Leeds again.

Just adopted a load of local squares on the Ramblers association's 'big path watch' initiative. So I guess I'll go for a walk. :geek:

Will have just got back from 10 days over indulging in Brittany. Should probably spend all of Monday on the turbo trying to shed some lard!

Nowt.
Zoe's got an old uni friend+family coming on Saturday.
Then she's planning a car boot sale for Sunday, followed by a night at the outlaws.
Monday she wants to go camping as she's got Tuesday off. She wants to take the dogs too. Rufus is fine and will snuggle in but Malcolm would rather break dance on my head for most of the night.

AND I'm good and ready for the kids to f**k off back to school. #doingmyheadin

Cycling to Bath & back with the lad, a test before he's allowed to ride at the Velodrome :)

We should have a night out

Not cycling related but still outdoorsy and adventurous

Spending 4 days camping in Southampton at the National Airsoft Event, biggest game in the sport with over 2300 players this year is one massive military simulation :)
Camping wont be quite as lightweight, with goretex, canvas and steel being the over of the day, but still good fun

Going as a business this year too, I've gotta pretend I'm a salesman and hopefully get some good publicity

So um....if anyone needs anything embroidery...give me a bell*

*disclaimer....yes this is a shameless plug

Long weekend with the family at the van in Wasdale.

Riding and up in the hills as much as my lot, the weather, distractions of the pub etc allows.
Rufus is fine and will snuggle in but Malcolm would rather break dance on my head for most of the night.
I'm intrigued as to the size / breed of rufus? And have you pictured in my mind under something like this .......

Looking at a long solo ride in the Dales on Saturday then a couple of days getting some more riding done with the mrs, unsure as to whether this will be two separate rides or will involve a bivvy.

Hopefully going out for a bit of a ride with the Mrs on Saturday. Just a flat pootle in the lanes of South Birmingham and probably a stop for a pint. :)

Monday hoping to get out for a local ride with a mate. Again nothing to taxing.
