Anyway, here's the plan.
Date and venue: Sep 12th/13th in sunny mid-Wales. Arrive either Fri evening (you can camp next to your car) or Sat morning.
Saturday will mainly be a day for trying new things, gleaning info, etc. Ian will be on hand to explain the finer points of packing, Taylor will be armed will an array of hammocks for you to try and there'll be a tarp 'clinic'. The emphasis is on the social side of things, so don't expect anyone to be throwing board dusters around or making you stand in a corner (for too long).
Saturday will also see the first ever 'World Tussock Racing Championships' take place - there will be a prize, it's not compulsory but hopefully it will be entertaining and people will enter into the spirit.
All being well, you'll get a meal on Sat evening and once eaten we'll set out into the hills for the night. Venue / distance will depend on numbers, etc but it won't be a race or an epic and anything 'nasty' will be strictly limited.
There will be a registration fee, however this will pay for food and 'goodies' and also act as an incentive for people to actually turn up - it won't be a lot.
So, if you're interested please say so here. Ta.
