Years ago I went to a Crikey, how much sale in London and for £20 each got a merino jersey two seasons old which is still fantastic and some 3/4 that were seconds. They are now looking ropey but considering getting a new set at £180 less 20%. It is a lot but they are easily the best 3/4 I have owned and lasted despite having marks and poor stitching when I bought them. .
Planet Fear shop in Keswick is closing down and they have 30% off everything including sale prices. Of most interest here is probably OMM sleeping bags - Mummery and 'pied d'elepant' type. Also a RAB Ascent 700 at half price.
The Outdoor Shop have some good offers on clothing at the moment with some stuff 50% off ... could be a good time to prepare for winter and get that new down jacket or waterproof?

Verenti fat bike at Wiggle reduced to £350. There's a few bits you'll probably want to change like the 42t chainring but it's the only 'cheap' fat bike I've seen that looks worthy of upgrading - Reynolds frame too, although I can't imagine that'll be every tube

Could you actually upgrade it enough to bring it down from the quoted 19.4kg? I did actually look at this bike a while back as my wallet was twitching and I've been intrigued by fat bikes for a while, but the fact it's 5kg+ on almost every other bike I've looked at was putting me off.

You could shave quite a bit of weight off without going mad - the standard tyres are 2kg each and I imagine the standard tubes will be 800g an end. It'll never be as light as some others but that will largely be down to the steel frame / forks. No reason why it should weigh more than a Pugsley though.
