The brief for this one was, a shield for an Alpkit Kraku gas stove and Mytimug. It needed to be efficient, light and if it could all fit inside the mug, then that would be a bonus. Oh and obviously, the ability to actually operate the stove with everything in place was quite important too.

My main concern with enclosing gas stoves is the canister and trying to keep it cool. To prevent any untimely explosions, the shield sits on an aluminium base that fits securely over the lip of the canister.

Sure is.

I'll get it up to you so you can have a play. There's a couple of things I'd possibly do differently but we'll try it and see how we get on.
