Solstice plans?

Post by Bearbonesnorm »

Anyone got anything interesting planned? I know Paul78 has arranged something up in the north east, so wonderd if anyone else was planning owt? Ride dawn till dusk, night on a summit or just staying in watching Eastenders?

It would appear I'm 'tied up' so it'd be nice to hear about other people plans

Isn't Dunwich Dynamo on the 4th July?

I'm giving a talk at the York Rally on Billie Dovey.

Fairly long ride in the South Downs with my nephew. I'd love to do an all day thing, but I suspect he'd die... or kill me. Not that my knee is really up to it yet anyway.

In 2016 I quite fancy roadying it for a day and doing that chase the sun thing.

Would make my way up to Paul78's bivi ride but it looks I'll be in Taiwan then so I'll be taking some basic kit and doing an overnighter on the Arkose I have out there. Looking forward to it.

I would've liked to have done Mick Boultons' Dusk till Dawn, but I'll be busy getting lost on the GDMBR. Looks like there's lots of good rides this side of the pond going on.

I'm sure people who have written off attending the event because it was full will be thrilled for you.

I was a good boy and emailed Stuart Ryder straight after the WRT when I decided not to do it to hand my place to someone on the reserve list which I believe he has done. :-P

I've just not told the wife that I've bailed to save my pass

Nothing concrete planned, possibly on the lakes to support bob graham round but hopefully a steady weekend as it's the one before the YD300...
