Shimano 9sp road/mtb chain the same?

Just got some chain joining pins from CRC and it says 9sp dura ace. Are they the same as MTB 9sp chain pins? Wouldn't want to find they are different out in the field.

Ray I've got a unopened Dura-Ace/XTR 9 speed chain here CN-7701
and it says the 9 speed pins should be silver in colour.

I've just opened the box and the part of the connecting pin that gets left in the chain measure 6.5mm if its 7.1mm its for 8/7 or 6 speed chain and black in colour (although the pin with my chain doesn't look very silver to me)
