Forks pressure when bikepacking

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere else.
I'm putting an extra 2-3kg on my handlebars when I go backpacking.
Do I need to pump up the fork shock and by how much?

Yes... and surely the usual case of x% sag applies?

That's what I do anyway.
