"Enduro" bearings in BB
Had a lovely time today but my BB decided that enough was enough and has given up being a BB ... so, do I just buy another FSA one (and expect it to be knackered in 6 months) or splash out on a Hope one or fit a set of Enduro bearings to my existing cups? This will be the cheapest option and I like repairing rather than replacing but does anyone have any experience of them?
May the bridges you burn light your way

Weirdly I can't seem to get my XTR one to die!
It's 2 years old, has seen plenty of stream dunkings, gets ridden in some pretty horendous conditions and then gets blasted with the hose-pipe every ride. With just some fresh grease every couple of months it's still spinning like day 1
Probably jinxed it now mind!
I was thinking it would be replaced by a stainless Hope when the time comes, it's pretty chewed up from being fitted/removed so many times I think a bearing swap wouldn't be wise.

enduro ones last for around a year ime. which is longer than shimano by around a third. worst i have ever had was a superstar that lasted 3 months of summer!
i've never had much luck in knocking them out; although friends have; i just send them off to BETD & get the bearings replaced.
If you send a few at a time you save a bit on the postage.

My Hope BB has been on my Five for 2 years - not had to touch it it that time
