silshelter
Silly daft question here. On the bargain thread the silshelter was mentioned at being half price. Bagged me one of those straight away. Now with the lack of instructions im confused by something. It seems that one of the pole pockets has been stitched on the incorrect side to me. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Both pictures have been taken with the tent in the same pitch.

Re: silshelter
Yeah, looks like the rear pocket's wrong, Friday afternoon one maybe? ID always said that the silshelter only requires a front pole ... however it pitches much better with a rear pole too.
Think I'd be sending it back.

Hmmmm, I'd better check mine too then this weekend.

Re: silshelter
Hi Stu. Can you recommend or even manufacture a pole for the short end of the silshelter please. If so can you detail cost including postage coupled with your paypal addy thanks
Re: silshelter
I also bought one of these from the tip in the bargain alert thread. Just checked it and mine has the pocket on the correct side.
Re: silshelter
Yeah needlesports have acknowledged the fault with the shelter and sent a replacement out straight away. They also refunded me the cost of the postage sending it back to them which I thought was nice. I'm actually excited to use it. I don't care about pack size and bulk. I think it will offer a different experience to the norm of stuffy ol tent. Hope I don't eat slugs in the morning though!
