PANNIER - new bike travel website

Haven't seen a post about this yet (sorry if I've missed it) so thought I'd pop up a link to a new bike travel website - PANNIER - that launched a few weeks ago.

Whilst its name probably gives away the fact that its not bikepacking specific by any means, don't all go running for your tarps - it covers all kinds of bike journeys, and does very specifically also include offroad bikepacking in that mix, which I think is really good to see. Its got a very unique look to it, with great photography and illustrations, which comes from the graphic skills that Stefan, who launched the site, has (he's an architect by trade).

There are some resources to help people get started, there's a facility for planning and sharing routes, there's a selection of gear for sale, and there's a Journal section, with words and pictures from trips or about bike travel.

I'm not affiliated with the site but have met Stefan - he's a really nice, genuine guy - and am lucky enough to have some photos and words from a few of my Massif Central posts edited into a piece in the Journal section.

It's worth checking out, particularly the Journal section, and if you have written anything yourself, or would like to, worth getting in touch with Stefan through the site, as he is gathering material for future 'issues'.
